Site Updates

Sam, our webmaster, has added some new site updates to Answers for Pilots. If any of you have questions on how to use new features or have any problems with the workings behind Answers for Pilots, please email him at sam [at] answersforpilots.com.

The first update is email notifications on questions. When asking questions, you may now enter your email optionally. If you do enter your email, you will receive an email notifying you if and when your question is answered. Also if you come across an unanswered question, you can click ‘Get email notifications?’ and submit your email. You will also receive an email when the question is answered. Keep in mind that your email will always be kept private, and will never be used for anything but email notifications.

The next update is a small and simple one, but please use it to help keep our site clean. After every question and answer there is an option to ‘Report as spam’. You don’t have to do anything but click the link and we will be notified of the spam. We appreciate your help, and please don’t abuse this feature.

Finally, you may now give a rating for answers. To vote for an answer, all you need to do is click one of the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 to vote and your page will be refreshed. Below this you can see the current rating average and number of votes. Every computer can vote on each answer once every 24 hours.
