Answers for Pilots Guest Post Guidelines

guest bloggingI am often emailed by writers who are interested in the possibility of blogging as a guest on Answers for Pilots, and what guideline might apply for such a position. I decided that it would be best just to write one post stating our guidelines, and refer all interested parties here.

For starters: Yes, guest blog posts are accepted. In fact, such posts are encouraged as it gives our readers a bit of diversity, and allows writers a chance to reach a wider audience.

What type of content is accepted from guest bloggers?

Any content that would be of value to our readers is accepted as a guest post. It can be related to anything aviation, from aircraft, airports, safety, regulation, news, stories, personal experiences, and much more. Although there isn’t a strict minimum length for guest post’s, we encourage guest writers to aim for at least 500 words.

Guidelines

• The posts content must be unique, and may not appear anywhere else on the internet.

• Writers must refrain from posting the blog anywhere else on the internet, such as a personal blog or another websites guest blog.

• Up to two links may be included anywhere in the content of the blog.

• Anchor text on the two links may not be SEO’d

How do I submit my guest post?

If your post meets all of the mentioned guidelines, and you are interested in publishing it with us, then please use the contact us form to send an email notifying me. Within 24 hours I will email you back to let you know whether or not your guest blog will be posted, and if so when it will appear live. Of course if your guest post is denied you are more than welcome to use the content on your own website or another site online.

Thanks, and I look forward to working with you!
